The Apple Show: iPhone 5S and 5C Review

Cupertino, California- Apple unveiled the much awaited iPhone 5S along with a budget model iPhone 5C. The 5S model is very much like the iPhone 5 as far as appearance is concerned but there are many other changes in the Hardware as the 5S comes with a faster 64-bit A7 processor and a first on the earth FingerPrint scanner. There is a major improvement in this model for the photography lovers as iPhone 5S comes with a 13-MP camera and a dual led flash. This phone will be available in two new colours which are Gold and Grey.

What upsets the users is the same screen size as the last years iPhone 5. Thus, main features of this year's iPhone 5S are motion processor and Touch ID.

The iPhone 5S costs $199 for the 16GB variant, $299 for 32GB model and $399 for 64GB all on contracts.

Fingerprint scanner
The optional fingerprint scanner rescues Apple's reputation as a smartphone maker with cutting-edge features that actually influence how people use their phones. The new scanner, called the Touch ID sensor, is integrated into the home button and adds some classy materials with its sapphire crystal topper and "stainless-steel detection ring." Now you tap to activate your phone, instead of pressing the button (but the button still depresses for normal navigation actions.

The iPhone 5S has the same 4-inch screen as the iPhone 5, and Apple's Retina Display, which has a 1,136x640-pixel resolution and a pixel density of 326 ppi. (This isn't the highest around, but Apple maintains that beyond this so-called sweet-spot saturation level, higher pixel density ceases to matter.)

The cheaper version known as the iPhone 5C will be available in many different colours like green, white, pink, blue and yellow. The prices start at $99 for 16GB on a year contract. There is also battery improvement in iPhones this year.

Apple CEO Tim Cook takes the stage to announce what he has been promising for since months.  With iOS 7, "iOS will become the world's most popular operating system," says Cook.
